I am Kelly McMahon O’Brien, an attorney, tax professional, educator, and a woman who understands what it means to carry a lot on her plate. I have spent more than 20 years helping clients organize, protect, and align their wealth and legacy with their values. My approach blends expertise with empathy.

As a fourth-generation Montanan and managing partner at Measure Law, P.C. in northwest Montana, I focus my practice on estate and tax planning, probate, business and real estate transactions. I’m especially drawn to working with people navigating life’s transitions. I help people planned for the future for their loved ones, growing a family business, and managing property and legacy with intention.

Licensed in both Montana and Oregon, I now have the privilege of helping clients plan for the future, protect what matters most, and leave a lasting legacy.

Credentials:

B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis on international business from the University of Montana, 

J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School, with certificate in natural resources law. 

LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law
